The brief

An entire house, finished to a date

Dining room furnished with a large wooden table and eight green velvet dining chairsRound marble-top dining table with four grey upholstered chairs on the showroom floor

The owners had a large seven-bedroom property and nothing in it. The alternative to a single supplier was a flooring firm, a bed retailer, a furniture shop, a curtain maker and a delivery company, five lead times, five delivery dates and nobody responsible for how the rooms looked together.

We took the whole property. That meant walking the house, measuring every room, agreeing the look and the budget, then specifying flooring, beds and mattresses, furniture, curtains and accessories as one coordinated scheme rather than a series of unrelated purchases.

Because everything came from us, the installation happened as one planned operation: flooring laid first, beds built in the rooms they were staying in, furniture carried in and positioned, curtains hung, accessories placed, and all the packaging removed by our own team before we left.

The result is a house that reads as one home rather than seven separately furnished rooms: warm, stylish and unmistakably Highland, and handed over finished.
